NATO Hails Turkish Paratroopers’ Airborne Capability

(MENAFN) NATO has praised Turkish paratroopers, emphasizing their discipline and airborne capabilities, while highlighting the symbolic role of courage in military training.

According to reports, the alliance shared a post on a social media platform featuring an image of Turkish paratroopers jumping from a CN-235 transport aircraft displaying the Turkish flag.

Accompanying the image, NATO stated: “Fear stays on the ground, courage rises in the sky. Height is not a limit for the Turkish paratroopers. It’s where freedom begins,”

The message was presented as recognition of the training and operational readiness of Turkish forces within the alliance.

Separately, it was noted that Ankara is set to host the NATO summit in July 2026, scheduled to take place over two days in early July.
